The Multi Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP) makes taxi cab travel a more affordable option for passengers with disabilities.

The MPTP entitles cardholders to discounted taxi cab fares in the state of Victoria. The cardholder must be in the taxi cab for the entire trip to be eligible for discounted taxi cab fares.

MPTP cards will pay for:

• 50% of taxi cab fares up to an amount of $120 per trip
• up to $60 for each taxi cab fare over $120
