How do I find a cab to drive?

A list of 13CABS affiliated Taxi Fleet Operators can be obtained from the Driver Services team at any 13CABS office.

Alternatively, you can contact Rav Singh for Driver Placement on (03) 9277 3729 to find a private Taxi Operator with shifts and a location suitable to you.

How do I notify 13CABS that I have updated my Driver's licence or Driver's Certificate?

You must bring your paper DC, photo DC, and Driver's licence to a 13CABS office where one of our reception staff members will be able to update it for you straight away.

You can attend 13CABS offices in North Melbourne or Preston between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Alternatively, you can attend at 13CABS head office in Oakleigh 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After business hours, you press the intercom at the door to the main building and one of our after hours staff will assist you.

What do I do if I believe I wrongly received an infringement notice for a cab?

If you weren't driving at the time, you will be able to discuss the infringement notice with the Taxi Operator of the nominated cab and request that they check their records. If the Taxi Operator is unable to change the nominated Driver, you can provide a statutory declaration to Civic Compliance to dispute the infringement notice.

You may request, in person, for a Driver Services Team member to check 13CABS records and advise you if you were driving the nominated taxi cab at the time stated.

13CABS will not provide letters exonerating you from infringement notice responsibility.
